805moms.com launched in April 2008 as an indispensable resource for parents and their young children. We've scoured the country surrounding areas to create an easy-to-use, comprehensive web guide.

The best thing about here is all of fantastic services and activities available. But it's not always easy to find out about them. Keep track using our handy calendar of events, connect with other area moms and sound off, or swap advice on our discussion boards.

We're moms, so we know how important it is to find a safe playground, a mothers group you can bond with and a restaurant that caters to both kids and adults. We've listened to local moms and created the community website they wanted and we're hoping to continue to evolve and respond to their needs.

The site content has been developed by a team of mothers, lead by our mom. Our head mom is out and about talking to other moms who have their finger on the pulse, finding out about local organizations and services.

While we attempt to leave no stone unturned there must be great places we've overlooked. Share your tips on little known hot spots to play with your children, the child-friendly businesses you frequent and invaluable support groups and services you couldn't do without.
